6 Things Never To Ask Your Wedding Planner

Your wedding planner is your guiding friend during all your wedding events. From the beginning of your wedding to the end, they seem to make the impossible happen. There are limits to what they can do, however. These 6 things are your planner’s limits.

1) Dispute Settling
Arguments may arise during the planning of your wedding, but your wedding planner is not the person to ask to settle the score. That is a lot of pressure to put on them and they are honestly just there to help make your big day special.

2) Run Your Errands
Your wedding planner is not your personal assistant. There may be certain things you can ask him or her to do for you pertaining to your wedding, but check with them first. It will help you gain a better understanding of what their limits are, and you also won’t be surprised if there are any additional fees tacked on to your bill if you’ve given them an extra task that requires a fee without realizing it.

3) Take Care Of Sick Guests
You won’t be able to predict everything that happens at your wedding, including if someone gets sick. If needed your planner will take charge in ensuring your guests are safe and well, but be sure to let them know if any of your guest have food allergies or health conditions, so they can be prepared.

4) Wedding Party Demands
A wedding planner will make sure your things are taken care of during the wedding day festivities, however they can not worry about the wedding party. Ultimately the wedding planner is there to take care of the bride, not the entire wedding party.

5) Availability 24/7
Between your wedding (and probably a few others) there is a lot on your planner’s mind. Be courteous of their time. They will not be available at all hours of the night, so if something must be changed for your wedding, respect business hours.

6) Set Up Everything
Depending on the type of wedding planner you have hired, their services may not include everything and then some. Most have a limit, so if you will be needing this, or any other special kind of service, discuss it with your your potential planners to ensure you’re both on the same page.

A wedding planner can be extremely beneficial to any bride. They will be there to make sure the day runs smoothly, so that you have an amazing time. However, it’s important to remember that while your wedding planner isn’t a magical fairy that can do it all, they will do everything in their power to make sure your wedding is a total success!
